Watch your thoughts, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
I’ve always struggled with committing to good habits. Either I feel discouraged or just forget about them. The difference now is that I know and I have a target of the habits I am trying to create. The Habit tracker I keep on a monthly basis in my journal helps me create new habits or keep up with the one I have already started. It takes 66 days for a habit to become automatic. That’s only few days over two months.
Ask yourself, what habit I want to create. For my monthly journal, I have started with the basic ones, read, drink water, sleep 8+, do yoga, and self love. Everyday I do the habit, I highlight that day in a small calendar I have created with just the number of days. Soon you will notice what habits are you making progress in and what need more attention. Once you get basic habits you wanted to create, you start dwelling in more habits you have always wanted to be part of you. Writing was always something I wanted to do everyday as a habit. Could be drawing for someone else. But I assure you, the progress you see in building these habits while keeping a dated tracker on them has a great feeling to them at the end of the day when you go and highlight that date of the habit tracker.
